Mr. Capalot or Polo Capalot as he is commonly referred to within Chicago Illinois started to gain popularity after he uploaded tracks on YouTube. He first released tracks including The Come Up and Never Cared as well as made his debut appearance on SoundCloud with the mixtape OFFICIAL POLO.G SOUND CLOUD. Gang With Me, his debut single was followed by the smash hit track Finer things. The song was composed by the singer while in jail. It was his debut record and gained millions of YouTube views and helped bring his name to the front. In the following months, major record companies began showing interest in him.
