Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the United States for more than ten years. She was a member as captain of both the US Olympic women's gymnastics team The Fierce Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals at the 2012 Olympics which took place in London. She also took home a bronze medal on the balance beam. This made her the Olympics gymnast who won the most medals. The gold medal she won at the Olympics in 2016 was her second gold in a row for the US team. This made her, along with teammate Gabby one of the very first Americans - to achieve this feat. Also, she received silvers in the individual all around event and floor exercises. The three years that passed between the Olympic Games she won, she took a break. Additionally, she was among the gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. Her first experience with gymnastics began at age of two and her favourite sport is floor exercise. Aly works with her organization, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in memory and honor of her grandmother. She is planning to pursue a career in fashion and hopes to broaden her line of signature leotards and socks in future. Fierce will be published at the end of summer.
